Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot system and network equipment that includes Router, Switches, Access point, Server and IP Phones, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
- To monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of the facility;
- Installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems, either over the phone or in person;
- Installation and configuration of workstations including OS updates;
- To ensure the correct running and maintenance of the IT systems;
- To provide technical support to staff, remote workstation fault diagnostics and automated network administration services;
- Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues;
- Maintaining records of software licenses;
- Installing and configuring printers and scanners over the network;
- Technical support at level 1, level 2 to users including Lan and Wan connectivity;
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements;
- Documents network problems and resolution for future reference;
- Rack mount and cabling of servers and other network devices;
- Responsible for all IT operations at the facility;
