LMKT in a joint venture with BARQAAB Consulting Services has agreed to provide consultancy services for the GIS Mapping of Gujranwala Electric Power Company’s distribution network.
Under the agreement, which was signed Dec. 4th, LMKT and BARQAAB will carry out a site survey and prepare for GIS mapping of GEPCO’s 11kV feeders and sampled LT network through ArcGIS software.
The JV partners will also use SynerGI to conduct load flow studies of the 11kV feeders and the sampled LT network to calculate technical and administrative losses.
“We believe that enhancing the efficiency of Pakistan’s various power distribution networks can go a long way in mitigating the Country’s existing energy crisis,” said LMKT’s Vice President, Service Delivery, Faisal Jamil.
LMKT and BARQAAB have previously collaborated to map and calculate distribution losses of Quetta Electric Supply Company’s network.
