KP’s Tourism Department to get LMKT-designed MIS

On June 12 LMKT agreed to design and develop an Integrated Management Information System for the Tourism Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The project, which is for the Economic Revitalization of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (ERKF), will enable the Tourism Department and its associated directorates (Directorate of Tourism Services (DTS), Tourism Facilitation Centers (TFCs)) to manage and monitor their business processes effectively.

The MIS will also help the Tourism Department with the better management of its workforce through customized dashboards. For tourism service providers the system will facilitate online registration, applications for No Objection Certificates and issuing of licenses/certificates. While, for tourists a web portal will provide information on events along with detailed travel advisory and online booking facilities.

To facilitate tourists during their tours through a mobile app by providing complete information regarding services, geographic areas, scenic places and their feedback regarding the tour etc.
