Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and international contracts,
- Ensure contracts comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including international best practices.
- Provide legal support and guidance to various internal departments regarding contract terms and risk management.
- Advise the Company and its affiliates on a wide range of legal and contractual matters.
- Support the development and implementation (via training) of internal company policies.
- Conceptualize and execute legal awareness initiatives to improve legal understanding across departments.
- Conduct legal research on ICT regulations in Pakistan and monitor global legal trends relevant to the company’s operations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining standard contract templates and procedures.
- Ensure timely contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as required.
- Draft a range of legal and corporate documents, including but not limited to show cause notices, responses, corporate correspondence, circulars, warning letters, and penalty notices.
- Assist the legal team in day-to-day legal matters and provide risk-based, business-oriented legal advice.
Skills-Job Specific:
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial laws, IPR, SECP regulations, and data privacy laws.
- Proven legal drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage tasks independently.
- Clear communication, sound legal judgment, and a proactive attitude.
Education:
LLB or LLM degree holders from a well reputed HEC recognized or international university.
