Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and international contracts,
  • Ensure contracts comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including international best practices.
  • Provide legal support and guidance to various internal departments regarding contract terms and risk management.
  • Advise the Company and its affiliates on a wide range of legal and contractual matters.
  • Support the development and implementation (via training) of internal company policies.
  • Conceptualize and execute legal awareness initiatives to improve legal understanding across departments.
  • Conduct legal research on ICT regulations in Pakistan and monitor global legal trends relevant to the company’s operations.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining standard contract templates and procedures.
  • Ensure timely contract renewals, amendments, and terminations as required.
  • Draft a range of legal and corporate documents, including but not limited to show cause notices, responses, corporate correspondence, circulars, warning letters, and penalty notices.
  • Assist the legal team in day-to-day legal matters and provide risk-based, business-oriented legal advice.

 Skills-Job Specific:

  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial laws, IPR, SECP regulations, and data privacy laws.
  • Proven legal drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage tasks independently.
  • Clear communication, sound legal judgment, and a proactive attitude.

Education:

LLB or LLM degree holders from a well reputed HEC recognized or international university.
