Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive the marketing, PR, and outreach efforts of our incubation center and startups. The role will focus on building our brand, engaging stakeholders, fostering partnerships, and creating impactful campaigns to promote our programs and startups. The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker with strong business acumen, able to lead marketing initiatives that inspire, connect, and deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:
    Create a comprehensive marketing strategy to promote the incubation center, its programs, and supported startups to target audiences.
    ● Define brand identity and messaging that resonates with investors, potential partners, media, and the broader tech community.
    ● Develop and manage all marketing materials, including website content, social media presence, brochures, and promotional campaigns.
  2. Build Community and Partnerships:
    Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, investors, corporations, universities, and industry organizations.
    ● Organize events, workshops, and conferences to connect startups with potential partners, mentors, and investors.
    ● Develop and implement outreach programs to attract promising startups to the incubation center.
  3. Sales, Business Development, and Partnerships for Incubation Center:
    Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities, sponsors, and revenue streams for the incubation center.
    ● Build strong partnerships with corporate entities, government bodies, and ecosystem enablers to support programs and startups.
    ● Develop proposals, negotiate agreements, and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties.
  4. Manage Public Relations and Media Coverage:
    Generate positive media coverage for the center and its startups through press releases, media outreach, and journalist relationships.
    ● Manage crisis communications and ensure a positive public image for the center.
    ● Monitor online reputation and address any negative feedback effectively.
  5. Good Knowledge and Hands-on Experience in Design, Communications, and Digital Tools:
    Design visually compelling marketing and communication materials aligned with the incubation center’s brand identity.
    ● Utilize industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and social media management platforms (Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
    ● Ensure all communications are clear, impactful, and tailored to different audiences.
  6. Content Creation and Social Media Management:
    Develop engaging content (blogs, articles, social media posts) highlighting the center’s activities, startup successes, and industry insights.
    ● Manage the center’s social media presence across various platforms, fostering community engagement and brand awareness.
    ● Analyze social media data and adapt strategies based on audience engagement and industry trends.
  7. Outreach and Stakeholder Management:
    Engage with investors, mentors, corporate partners, and other ecosystem players to foster long-term relationships.
    ● Maintain regular communication and updates with stakeholders to ensure continued support and collaboration.
    ● Coordinate outreach campaigns targeting high-potential startups, universities, and tech communities.
  8. Event Planning and Execution:
    Collaborate with both public and private organizations to establish strategic partnerships, drive sponsorship opportunities, and maximize the impact and success of our events.
    ● Plan and execute high-impact events like demo days, pitch competitions, and networking events to showcase startups and attract investors.
    ● Manage logistics, speaker invitations, and attendee registration for successful event execution.
    ● Measure event impact and identify areas for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
  9. Data-Driven Decision Making:
    Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, website traffic, social media engagement, and media mentions.
    ● Use data insights to inform marketing strategies, content creation, and outreach efforts for continuous improvement.
    ● Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing and public relations for the tech sector.
  10. Strategy Team – Envisioning Growth:
    Contribute actively to the strategic planning process for the incubation center’s long-term growth and sustainability.
    ● Identify emerging industry trends, market opportunities, and innovation areas to expand program offerings and partnerships.
    ● Support leadership in setting growth targets, developing expansion plans, and aligning team efforts with organizational objectives.

 

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Proven experience in marketing, PR, and partnerships, preferably in the tech/startup ecosystem.
  • Strong brand development and storytelling abilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with media, investors, and corporate partners.
  • Proficiency in design and communication tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, Google Workspace, social media platforms).
  • Exceptional content creation, copywriting, and social media management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills for event planning and execution.
  • Data-driven decision-making with ability to track and optimize campaigns.
  • Strategic mindset with an eye for industry trends and growth opportunities.
