LMKT Deploys MIS for Tourism Corporation KP

LMKT is pleased to report that it has deployed Management Information Systems for business, finance and human resources functions of Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (TCKP).

The implementation of Business Management Information System has automated key processes and streamlined the functioning of Directorate of Tourism Services. Now the process of granting licenses to tourist facilities and operators as well as the maintenance of a complete online database is entirely automated.  Management Information Systems for Finance and Human Resources has also gone live at TCKP, with their Accounts Session scheduled to shift to the new system in the upcoming fiscal year.

The deployment is part of a World Bank-funded comprehensive engagement with TCKP and is part of the Economic Revitalization of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (ERKF). The project is expected to enhance the tourism infrastructure in the province by connecting the Government, tour operators, property owners and tourists on a single platform.

In June 2018, LMKT agreed to design and develop an Integrated Management Information System for TCKP that will help the department manage and monitor their business processes effectively.
